$500K+ Given Back to Strength Sport - More Than Any Other Powerlifting Brand in Australian History!
Since 2013, Harris Stability Systems has given more than $500,000 back to strength sport through the sponsorship and support of athletes, powerlifting competitions, strength events, federations and major championships.
From novice powerlifting competitions designed to introduce first-time lifters to the platform, through local and state competitions, Australian National Championships, World Championships and exclusive international invitationals, Harris has supported strength sport at every level.
Our involvement has extended beyond powerlifting into strongman, bodybuilding, athletics, combat sports and elite Australian team sport.
We don't just sell strength equipment to the community.
We invest back into it.
From Grassroots Powerlifting to the World Stage
Strength sport doesn't start at a World Championship.
It starts in local gyms and clubs.
It starts with someone entering their first novice powerlifting competition, putting on a belt and walking onto a competition platform for the first time.
Those grassroots competitions create the next generation of lifters, coaches, referees, volunteers, meet directors and champions.
That is why Harris has never limited its sponsorship to the biggest competitions or the biggest names.
Since 2013, our support has extended across the entire pathway.
Grassroots & Novice Competitions
Novice powerlifting and strength competitions give new lifters their first opportunity to experience competitive strength sport.
Harris has supported grassroots and novice events around Australia, helping local organisers put on competitions and helping introduce new lifters to the sport.
Local Competitions
Local powerlifting competitions are the backbone of the sport.
They provide regular opportunities for lifters to compete, clubs to grow, coaches to develop athletes and local strength communities to grow.
Harris has supported local competitions across Australia as part of our long-term commitment to Australian powerlifting and strength sport.
State Championships
As lifters progress, state-level competition becomes an important stepping stone towards national competition.
Harris has supported State Championships and state-level powerlifting events across multiple federations.
Australian National Championships
National Championships bring together some of the strongest lifters from around Australia.
Harris has supported national-level competitions, athletes and powerlifting federations throughout our history. In 2026 Harris sponsored all three of the major powerlifting federations at the same time, something never done before - CAPO Nationals - APL Nationals - GPC Nationals
World Championships
Our involvement hasn't stopped at Australian competition.
Harris has supported World Championships and international powerlifting competition, including helping bring some of the biggest names in strength sport to Australia. In 2014 Harris was the main sponsor for the GPA Worlds, the first and only time a Powerlifting World Championship has been hosted in Australia, we made that happen.
Elite Invitationals
Some of the most memorable moments in powerlifting happen outside traditional championship structures.
Harris has also supported elite invitationals featuring world-class lifters competing for significant prize money, including Pro Raw, which became one of the premier invitational powerlifting events in the world during this era.
$500,000+ Back Into Strength Sport
Our contribution to strength sport is now more than $500,000 and counting.
That support has taken many different forms.
It includes support for:
• Grassroots strength competitions
• Novice powerlifting competitions
• Local competitions
• State Championships
• Australian National Championships
• World Championships
• Elite powerlifting invitationals
• Powerlifting federations
• Individual sponsored athletes
• International athletes competing in Australia
• Major strength and fitness events
• Meet organisers
• Competition prizes
• Event sponsorship
• Athlete sponsorship
• Strength sport promotion
Behind that number are competitions, athletes, organisers, volunteers and opportunities throughout the Australian strength community.
More than any other Powerlifting brand in Australian history!
For us, giving back isn't a marketing campaign, It has been part of Harris Stability Systems since 2013.
Supporting Strength Athletes
Harris has supported athletes ranging from developing Australian lifters through to some of the biggest names strength sport has produced.
Our athlete history includes Australian and international powerlifters, strongmen and strongwomen, bodybuilders and athletes from many other strength-based sports.
Some have represented Harris as sponsored athletes.
Others have received support for particular competitions, tours, appearances or major events.
We want that history represented accurately. Our athlete history is therefore divided into three groups:
Current Harris Athletes
Athletes currently supported by Harris Stability Systems.
Past Harris Athletes
Athletes who have previously represented or been sponsored by Harris Stability Systems.
Event-Supported Legends
Australian and international strength legends Harris has supported for specific competitions, tours, appearances or events.
Bringing Strength Legends to Australia
Our investment in Australian powerlifting has sometimes gone far beyond supplying prizes or putting a Harris logo on an event.
Harris has helped bring some of the world's greatest strength athletes to Australia to compete, make appearances and become part of Australian strength sport history.
For Australian powerlifting fans, these events created rare opportunities to see some of the biggest names in strength sport competing and appearing here in Australia.
The full story of these athletes, competitions and tours will form part of The Harris Legacy.
Supporting Major Powerlifting Events
Harris has been involved with events ranging from small local powerlifting meets through to Australian National Championships, World Championships and some of the premier elite powerlifting invitationals of their era.
Our history includes:
FitX — 2013–2014
Harris participated in FitX during the early years of the business, when the event was a major destination for Australian strength, bodybuilding and fitness.
2014 GPA World Championships
Harris was the major sponsor of the 2014 GPA World Championships in Australia.
The event brought Australian competitors together with elite international powerlifters and became an important chapter in both Harris history and Australian powerlifting.
Our deeper Harris Legacy section will cover the event and the international strength legends Harris helped support in greater detail.
Russian Kings Tour
Harris helped support the Russian Kings Tour and the appearance of elite international powerlifters in Australia.
Rather than covering the full history here, the athletes, tour and Harris involvement will be explored as part of The Harris Legacy.
Pro Raw — Elite Invitational Powerlifting
Harris sponsored Pro Raw during a period when it had established itself as one of the premier invitational powerlifting events in the world.
Pro Raw brought elite lifters together in a high-level invitational format with significant prize money and some of the strongest competitors of the era.
Harris sponsored Pro Raw events across two years, including an event held at PTC Headquarters in Frankston in November 2015 and Pro Raw 8 at the 2016 Arnold Classic Australia.
This involvement demonstrates an important part of Harris's sponsorship history: supporting not only grassroots and federation competition, but also elite invitational powerlifting at the highest level.
Arnold Classic Australia — 2015–2018
Harris was involved with the Arnold Classic Australia across multiple years during one of the most significant periods for Australian strength sport.
Importantly, Harris wasn't simply exhibiting at the Arnold, Harris was the major sponsor of the powerlifting events during this period of the Arnoulds Sports Festival:
2015 — CAPO National Championships
The first Arnold Classic Australia in 2015 hosted the CAPO National Championships.
At the time, CAPO was owned by Harris, and we were directly involved in running the powerlifting event as well as being its major sponsor.
2016 — Pro Raw 8
At the second Arnold Classic Australia in 2016, Pro Raw 8 brought elite invitational powerlifting to the Arnold stage.
Harris was again the major sponsor of the powerlifting event.
These events helped put high-level powerlifting in front of a much broader Australian strength and fitness audience.
Further details, photographs, athletes and historical information will be included in The Harris Legacy.
These major events represent only part of the story.
Much of our contribution has happened at smaller powerlifting competitions around Australia, the competitions where the next generation of strength athletes first gets started.
From a lifter's first novice meet to elite international invitationals, Harris has supported the full competition pathway.
Supporting Australian Powerlifting Federations
Strong competitions require strong organisations, officials, volunteers and federations behind them.
Over the years Harris has supported competitions and activities associated with numerous Australian and international powerlifting federations and organisations, including:
• CAPO (GPA & WPC)
• GPC
• APL
• Pro Raw
Our involvement has crossed federation lines because our support has always been about helping strength sport grow.
Different rules.
Different federations.
Different platforms.
The same sport.
Beyond Powerlifting, Supporting All Strength Sports
Powerlifting has played an enormous role in the Harris Stability Systems story, but Harris equipment and athlete support have never been limited to the powerlifting platform.
Over the years Harris has supplied, sponsored or supported athletes competing across a much broader range of strength, physique, athletic and combat sports.
Strongman & Strongwoman
Harris has supported strongman and strongwoman competitors competing from Australian events through to the highest levels of international strongman.
That includes athletes associated with competitions and pathways such as:
• Australia's Strongest Man
• Australia's Strongest Woman
• International strongman competition
• World's Strongest Man level competition
• Elite strength events
Strongman places enormous demands on grip, bracing, joint support and total-body strength, making it a natural extension of the Harris strength equipment range.
Bodybuilding
Our athlete history also extends into competitive bodybuilding and physique sport.
Harris has supported bodybuilders competing across organisations and levels including:
• IFBB
• IFBB Pro competition
• NABBA
• Professional bodybuilding
• National-level bodybuilding
• Australian bodybuilding competition
While bodybuilding and powerlifting are different sports, serious bodybuilding training still depends heavily on strength, stability and high-performance training equipment.
Our past and present athlete history includes competitive bodybuilders who have used Harris equipment as part of their training.
Athletics & Paralympic Sport
Harris support has extended into athletics and adaptive sport.
This includes athletes competing in strength and power-based disciplines such as:
• Shot put
• Paraolympic athletics
• Paraolympic competition
• Adaptive sport
Athletes such as Marty Jackson form an important part of this broader Harris sporting history.
MMA, UFC & Combat Sports
Strength and conditioning play a major role in combat sports, and Harris has also been connected with athletes competing across combat disciplines.
These include areas such as:
• Mixed Martial Arts
• MMA
• UFC Australian Athletes
• Bare Knuckle Boxing
• Combat sports
• Professional fight preparation
• Strength and conditioning for fighters
Harris equipment isn't only designed for someone standing on a powerlifting platform. Belts, wrist support, knee support and strength accessories are used throughout serious strength and conditioning environments.
Rugby & Professional Team Sport
Elite team sports rely heavily on professional strength and conditioning programs.
Harris equipment has been supplied to major Australian sporting organisations including:
• Queensland Reds Rugby
• Australian Wallabies Rugby
• Redcliffe Dolphins
Professional rugby and elite team sport require athletes to develop exceptional strength, power, speed and resilience.
Having Harris equipment used within these environments forms another important part of our history outside competitive powerlifting.
Strength Equipment Used Across Sports
The common thread across all of these sports is strength.
A powerlifter preparing for a World Championship, a strongman preparing for Australia's Strongest Man, a professional bodybuilder training through an offseason, a Paralympic athlete developing explosive power, a fighter preparing for competition and a professional rugby player all train differently.
But serious strength training sits underneath all of them.
That is why Harris equipment has found its way into so many different sporting environments.
Our products have been used for:
• Powerlifting
• Strongman
• Strongwoman
• Bodybuilding
• Strength and conditioning
• Rugby
• Athletics
• Para athletics
• MMA
• Combat sports
• Bare Knuckle Boxing
• Professional sport
• General strength training
Different sports.
Different athletes.
The same demand for reliable strength equipment.
Supporting More Than Athletes
Giving back to strength sport isn't only about sponsoring famous athletes.
A sport cannot exist without the people and organisations behind the competitors.
Over the years, Harris support has extended across the broader ecosystem of strength sport:
• Athletes
• Competition organisers
• Powerlifting federations
• Local clubs
• Major events
• International events
• Competition prizes
• Athlete appearances
• Strength expos
• Sporting organisations
• Grassroots competition
Some of the biggest names create memorable moments.
But the local meet director running a novice competition is helping create the next generation of the sport.
Both matter.
Why Giving Back Matters
Strength sport built Harris Stability Systems.
Our customers are lifters.
Our athletes are lifters.
Many of the people who have helped build our brand are competitors, coaches, meet directors, referees, volunteers and members of the wider strength community.
So as Harris has grown, we have continued putting money back into the community that helped build us.
Not just when there are thousands of spectators.
Not just when a famous athlete is competing.
And not just when there is a major marketing opportunity.
From someone's first novice powerlifting competition to a World Championship platform, we believe every level of the sport matters.
The Difference Is Where The Money Goes
Australian lifters have more choices than ever when buying powerlifting gear and strength equipment.
There are Australian brands and international brands.
There are established companies and new companies.
There are premium brands and budget brands.
We believe customers should also know what the company behind their equipment contributes to the sport.
For Harris, that contribution is more than $500,000 and counting.
Money that has helped support athletes.
Money that has helped support competitions.
Money that has helped support federations.
Money that has helped bring international strength athletes to Australia.
Money that has helped support everything from grassroots powerlifting through to World Championships.
We don't just want to participate in the Australian strength community as a retailer.
We want to help build it.
Strength Sport Built Harris. We Give Back.
Since 2013:
$500,000+ Given Back To Strength Sport
From grassroots powerlifting to World Championships.
From first-time competitors to some of the greatest strength athletes of all time.
From small local meets to international events.
From Australian athletes to international legends.

And we're not finished.
Every time the Harris community grows, it gives us another opportunity to continue supporting the sports and athletes that helped build our business.

100,000+ customers and counting.
Built by the strength community. Invested in the strength community.
